A bit about me

Although I prefer for my clients and work to be the spotlight, I'll step in front of the lens so you know who you'll be hanging out with.

When I’m not photographing, you’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand, chasing good light, or wandering somewhere new simply out of curiosity. I’m drawn to old photographs, quiet places, & anything that feels lived in. The mountains breathe life into me, though the sound of the waves seems to follow me wherever I go. My faith grounds me, & slowing down to notice beauty in people, places, and fleeting moments is something I carry with me into every part of my work. I value presence over perfection, and I care deeply about making sure the people I photograph feel comfortable, seen, and safe.

The Passion

My why is simple: heirlooms.

As a child, I would sit on the floor of my mother’s scrapbook room, surrounded by albums and photographs that told the story of our family long before I understood what storytelling was. I was drawn to the love, the joy, and the quiet, unguarded moments; unaware then that what felt ordinary at the time would become something cherished and passed down.

I learned early on that the act of taking a photograph is fleeting, but what it becomes is lasting. People and seasons come and go, but an image can carry a story far beyond its moment. If I can create even one photograph that is held, returned to, and loved for more than a lifetime, then this work has meaning.

The Mission

God created this world in its entirety; every person, every story, every form of love. Beauty exists everywhere when we slow down enough to notice it. Always consider the lillies.

My mission is to approach this work with reverence, care, and responsibility, seeking glimpses of that beauty as it unfolds. I believe photographs are more than a moment preserved; they are stories carried forward. Through this work, I hope to help people see themselves as they are seen: worthy of being remembered, held, and cherished.
